Terms of Service

A plain-language summary of the agreement between FlagFake and the people and organisations who use it. This is a template and should be reviewed by your legal counsel before launch.

Using the service

You may submit files for verification only where you have the legal right to do so, and where any required consent from the document subject has been obtained.

Verification results

Automated results are probabilistic assessments, not legal determinations. FlagFake provides evidence and analysis; decisions taken on the basis of a report remain yours.

Acceptable use

No submission of unlawfully obtained material.
No use of the platform to harass, defame or profile individuals.
No attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas or access controls.

Fees and credits

Automated verifications are charged per file. Expert and institutional verification is quoted per case and confirmed before work begins.

Termination

We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time and request deletion of your stored files.
